This CD-Rom contains the proceedings of a workshop held in Trieste, Italy. The objective of this workshop was to create an international platform of discussion to ensure that the interest in technology foresight in the Latin America and the Caribbean region is real and backed by practical intentions and commitment. The 'UNIDO-ICS Initiative for Latin America and the Carribbean' seeks the establishment of a knowledge network with open-access for dialogue and exchange of expertise, interactive store of knowledge, experiences, best practices and skills inventories; looking forward to spread the techniques and know-how to the largest possible number of foresight practitioners and decision makers in the region.
